Budget Tip of the Day: Photo Plates

Grab your plates and get ready for a picture display idea that will give you a very unique and pretty display. Thrift stores are a great place to find old plates if you don’t already have some lying around. Choose your plate and print off an image that is large enough to fit in the center of the plate. Use a compass to trace a circle around the image making sure it is the same size as the center of the plate. You could also make a pattern on another sheet of paper and use that as your guide. Cut out your circle and use double stick tape to adhere to the plate. Another option would be to use Post-It self adhesive photo paper. It’s that simple! Get creative and have fun with your plates. You could create a beautiful wall display, make a few to adorn your mantel or tabletop, or give one as a very special gift.
