Budget Tip of the Day: DIY Table Runner

Take a few dollar store kitchen towels and turn them into a fun, spring DIY table runner. All you need are 3 kitchen towels and a sewing machine. Simply pin the short ends of the towels together (butt the ends together so the runner will lay flat) and then run a zig zag stitch down the center. That’s it! Have fun mixing different colored towels together or keep it simple by using identical ones. At only $3.00 you could probably afford to make a few and change them up throughout the year.
