Budget Tip of the Day: Mason Jar Soap Dispenser

Here is an easy mason jar decorating idea that takes just minutes to make. It’s super easy to turn any jar into a lovely soap dispenser for your kitchen or bathroom. There are many shops that sell these, but you can make it yourself for a lot cheaper. You will need a jar with lid, soap dispenser, and a drill. Drill a hole in the center of the lid about a half inch wide. You want the hole to fit the width of your dispenser, but you want it to be snug so it’s not loosely spinning around. Make sure your pump is long enough to reach the bottom of the jar. If it’s too long, just cut it to size. Fill you mason jar with soap, insert the pump, and enjoy washing your hands. Try using a jar you already have and a dispenser from an old bottle you no longer use. Final cost: FREE!
