Budget Tip of the Day: Stenciled Dresser
If you want a simple and affordable way to transform a plain dresser, then decorating with stencils is the way to go. Just find a stencil you love or make your own by tracing a design onto contact paper and cutting it out using an exacto knife. Just peel and stick the contact paper right to the dresser. If using a different stencil, securely tape it in place or use repositionable spray adhesive to adhere. Apply your paint over the stencil and then carefully remove. Repeat the pattern around the dresser as desired. Stenciling will give you a brand new look without spending a lot of time and money. From geometric to contemporary to floral patterns, the variety of stencils is endless. You’re sure to find (or make) one that suits your taste and style.
