Budget Tip of the Day: Striped Walls

Paint is the most inexpensive way to add stripes to a space.  It will take you a little time, but the results are so worth it.

Horizontal stripes are a favorite of mine lately.  They add a bit more of a modern touch.  They also carry your eye around the room, making it appear wider.  Depending on which colors you choose, stripes can easily work for a child’s room or any adult space.  Check out my striped magnetic wall for some helpful tips on how to paint perfect stripes.
